When you want to express your opinion in Slovenian, you can use the following phrases:

Agreeing and Disagreeing[edit | edit source]
When we want to agree or disagree with someone's opinion in Slovenian, we can use the following phrases:

Example dialogue:
- Person 1: Misliš, da bi morali zamenjati avtomobil? (Do you think we should replace the car?)
- Person 2: Se strinjam. Star je že preveč let. (I agree. It's too old already.)
- Person 1: Ne strinjam se. Menim, da ga lahko še uporabljamo. (I disagree. I think we can still use it.)
- Person 2: Delno se strinjam. Morda bi ga lahko popravili. (I partly agree. Maybe we could fix it.)
Giving Reasons[edit | edit source]
When we give an opinion in Slovenian, it's often useful to provide a reason to support our argument. Here are some useful phrases to do so:

- Person 1: Zakaj misliš, da bi morali menjati službo? (Why do you think we should change jobs?)
- Person 2: To je zato, ker ne uživamo v njej. (That's because we're not enjoying it.)
- Person 1: Razlog, zakaj mislim tako, je, da imamo boljše možnosti drugje. (The reason I think so is that we have better opportunities elsewhere.)
- Person 2: Meni se zdi, ker vidim, da se nimaš kaj naučiti tukaj. (It seems to me that because I see that you have nothing to learn here.)
